By reacting to the positive and negative feedback in a timely manner. We used to have frequent employee talks (officially three times a year, but, in reality, we had them more frequently). However, sometimes it seemed to me that it was not enough. Now I have a chance to discuss the situation whenever I notice that someone is feeling atypically bad or good. This is important because it gives you real-time results when the problem is still relevant. There’s no point in discussing the situation 2 months after the problem occurred when no one will remember what the problem was in the first place.
Gaining insights into how the DE(German) team feels at work. Since we are not at the same location, and I don’t collaborate with some of the colleagues at all (for example, the colleagues who are in the Film department do not directly collaborate with any of the colleagues), I needed a way to find out how they feel and what they think. And, now I can do that. Heartcount enabled me to get an insight into how things are in DE office, as I tend to communicate frequently only with a few colleagues. I communicate with the rest of the colleagues rarely, mainly via mail or Slack.
